Sandra E Anderson

Sandra E. (Barney) Anderson, 67, of Esopus, NY, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, NY. She was born June 5, 1947 in Montpelier VT to the late Donald A and Alberta (Eldred) Barney.

For many years she worked as a lab technician at IBM in Fishkill, NY. She also worked for National Life Insurance Company in VT after graduating from Montpelier High School in 1964.

Sandra is survived by her two daughters: Melissa Olivares and her husband Francisco of White Plains and Julie Anderson of Esopus, as well as her grandchildren Samantha and Javier Olivares. She is also survived by her ex-husband Bob Anderson of Barre, VT and her step-children Toni Anderson of Connecticut and Michelle Anderson of Vermont.

She was predeceased by her first husband Clyde Sweetser who passed in October of 2013.

Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 216 Broadway, Port Ewen, services will be held on Sunday August 17th at 1:00pm at the Worcester United Methodist Church, Worcester, VT.
