Sammy Frangello Jr. of Kingston Point died Friday, January 6, 2006 at Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home. He was 74.
A native and lifelong resident of Kingston Point, he was born March 8, 1931, a son of the late Sam and Rose Guida Frangello.
A parishioner of St. Mary's Church, he was a member of the Benevolenza Associazion Santa Maria, Kingston Point.
Three sisters Angeline Kostecky, Julia C. Frangello and Margaret Denter and two brothers Eugene and Joseph Frangello all died previously.
Surviving are two sisters Anna Saehloff of Kingston and Mrs. Dolores McLaren of Hurley; many nieces and nephews.
Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral will be Monday at 9:15 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church at 10:00 AM. Sammy will be buried with his parents in St. Mary's Cemetery.
