Sam Paulucci

Sam “SamJoe” J. Paulucci, 67, of Concord, NC, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024, at home. He was born on February 5, 1957, in Kingston, NY, son of the late Santino and Ethel (Rinaldo) Paulucci. He was married to the late Brenda J. (Dederick) Paulucci, Brenda passed away in 2008. 

Sam was a collector of cars, trucks, and match box cars. He enjoyed going for rides and driving his cars. He really looked forward to being with his grandsons, they were the love of his life.

He is survived by his daughter, Kayla D'Allura and her husband Christopher D’Allura, Sr., his grandsons, Michael, Christopher, Jr., and Daniel D’Allura, his sister, Kathy (Paulucci) McKenzie and her significant other Joe Relyea, his mother in law, Carol (Van Etten) Dederick, his sisters-in-law, Bonnie (Dederick) Barr and her husband Joe, and Daisy (Dederick) Ford, and his brother-in-law, Bernie Dederick, Jr. 

He is also survived by his nephews and godsons, Anthony McKenzie and his wife Mimi, and Michael McKenzie, Sr. and his wife Amy, his great niece, Nova McKenzie, and his great nephew, Michael “Mikey” McKenzie, Jr. He also leaves behind his special friends, John, Keith, Mike, and Sammy. In addition to his wife and parents, Sam is preceded in death by his godparents, Aunt Gloria and Uncle Jim Rich. 

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Monday, April 15, 2024, from 4pm to 7pm. The funeral procession will form on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 10am and will proceed to St. Joseph’s RC Church, 242 Wall St., Kingston, NY 12401 where at 11am a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
