Salvatore Baglio

Salvatore ''Sal'' Baglio, 59, of Rosendale, died Monday, December 3, 2012 at Kingston Hospital, He was born September 20, 1953 in Brooklyn, the son of Michael Baglio of Port Ewen and the late Mary Guerico Baglio. Sal was the husband of Joan Wisniewski Baglio; they wed on June 4, 1977.

With his family, they moved to this area from Queens in 1989. He had worked for the Ulster County Highway Department as a Diesel Mechanic until his disability in 2008.

He loved to work around the house and on cars, and was blessed with great mechanical and construction skills. A friend of Bill, he generously gave back his time to help others.

In addition to his wife and father he is survived by his daughter Michele Baglio, and son Christopher Baglio both of Rosendale and many aunts, uncles nieces and nephews.

Entrusted to the care of Eric Keyser, A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, friends may call on Wednesday from 2- 4 & 7 - 9. The service will be Thursday at 10:30am. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
