Sally A. Castiglione Hendrickson

Sally A. Castiglione Hendrickson, 89, of Kingston, NY, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Golden Hill Nursing & Rehab Center in Kingston. She was born on October 24, 1933 in Kingston, daughter of the late Salvatore and Marguerite (Fay) Castiglione.

Sally was a Kingston High School graduate, class of 1951. She worked for the NY Telephone Company (Service Representative), Northern Dutchess Hospital (Director of Purchasing), Northern Metropolitan Hospital Association (Director of Group Purchasing) and after retirement at MACY's Department Store.

She was a volunteer for the Benedictine Hospital Auxiliary. Her interests included reading, knitting, and she was an avid NFL fan, especially the NY Giants. Sally traveled extensively throughout the continental US and had memorable trips to Greece, the Panama Canal, Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii, Bermuda, and the Bahamas. She consulted through Partners in America on the Island of Dominica for two weeks.

Sally is survived by her son, Raymond Hendrickson, her daughter in law, Barbara Hendrickson, her grandchildren, Brittany, Trevor, Kari, Skye, and Maya Hendrickson, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her son, David Hendrickson, her brothers, Richard, Harry, and Vincent Castiglione, as well as her sister, Marguerite "Peggy" McDonough.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 10am to 12pm. The funeral service will take place at 12pm followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kingston.
