Ruth K. Peller formerly of Village Court, Kingston died Monday, July 7, 2014 at the Roscoe Regional Rehabilitation Center. She was 95. She was born July 27, 1918 in Glendale, a daughter of the late Theodore and Martha Henze Kuehn. She graduated from the Cortland Normal School (SUNY Cortland) in 1939. Mrs. Peller had been employed as a secretary for Rylance Printing in Kingston. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. On February 3, 1946 she married Frank F. Peller. Mr. Peller died on October 24, 2010. Surviving are her daughter Kathryn Fries and her husband Fred of Livingston Manor; her son Richard Peller and his wife Ellen of Spokane, WA; two sisters, Dorothy Thiel of Washington, DC, Irma Pullen of Edison, NJ and a brother, Clarence Kuehn of Gwynedd, PA. Also surviving are two grandsons, Matthew and Noah Peller and several nieces and nephews. Her sister Evelyn Peller died previously. Entrusted to the care of Paul Geary of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Luscas Ave., Kingston. Friends will be received on Friday from 10 - 11 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 470 Hurley Ave., Hurley. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM by Pastor Woody Mather. Interment will follow in Montrepose Cemetery.
