Ruth Gold

Ruth Gold, of North Miami Beach, FL died Friday, May 13, 2005 in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester. She was 80. She was born in Kingston on December 14, 1924, a daughter of the late Henry and Molly Tempkin Gold. She moved to New York City in 1949 and for many years was an office manager for Lasser Garment Co. in NYC. Ruth moved to North Miami Beach, Florida in 1990. Two sisters Minnie Marcus and Katie Yellen and two brothers Solomon Gold and Louis Gold all died previously. Surviving are three nieces Rosalyn Marcus of Shokan, Evelyn Stoler of Henrietta, NY and Carol Wolitsky of Pittsford, NY; two nephews Henry Marcus of Rhinebeck and Kenneth Yellen of Brooklyn. Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday at 1:00 at Montrepose Cemetery, Rabbi Y. Yitzcok Hecht will officiate.
