Ruth G. Barringer

Ruth G. Barringer, formerly of Fairmont Ave., Kingston, died April 20, 2012 at Ten Broeck Commons. She was 98. Ruth was born in New Salem, a daughter of the late Francis and Jesse McCausland Gumaer. For many years she worked at Wonderly's, Kingston and retired, at age 89, in July 2002. Beloved mother of Robert Bold and his wife Connie of Raleigh, NC, John H. Brooks and his wife Maureen of Kingston; sister of the late Helen Duffner and Arthur Gumaer. Four grandchildren, several great grandchildren, twin great, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. A Memorial Service will be conducted at the Port Ewen Reformed Church on Monday at 1:00 PM, Rev. James Beukelman will officiate. Inurnment, in St. Remy Cemetery, will be private.
