Ruth E. Bott, 86, of Ulster Park, died Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Northern Dutchess Hospital.
Born in Kinnelon, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Walter & Elizabeth Sickles Bott, Sr.
Ruth enjoyed sports, especially softball and bowling. Ruth was most thankful that she had the opportunity to travel to all parts of the country and to participate in the women’s national bowling tournaments. Ruth loved her log cabin in the woods. Ruth was a retiree of IBM.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews and many friends she has known over the course of her life.
Ruth was the youngest child and in addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her thirteen siblings: Jessie, Walter II, Robert, Jeannette, James, Peter, Lillian, John, George, Elizabeth, Watson, Mildred and Richard.
A gathering in the spring will be held to honor and remember Ruth.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to a charity of one’s choice.
