Kingston - Rudolph E. Stallmann, Jr. of Lynette Blvd. died Sunday, September 27, 2015 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus. He was 96. He was born in New York City, a son of the late Rudolph and Helen Kozcelnik Stallmann Sr. A graduate of Stuyvesant H.S. in NYC, he attended NYU and Brooklyn Polytech. During WW II, he served with the Seabees for 3 years, mostly on Guadalcanal. He was a machinist for New York City, for 32 ½ years. On June 7, 1947 he married Jeannette Southwick in Rochester, NY. Mrs. Stallmann passed away on September 17, 2005. Mr. Stallmann was a 60 yr. member of the Masons and a member of St. James United Methodist Church. He volunteered at Golden Hill and the Maritime Museum. Surviving is his daughter, Dale Spencer and son-in-law Mark Riseley of Kingston; his son Carl Stallman and daughter-in-law Cilla Kloth of Staten Island. Three grandchildren, Hadley Ordway of Kingston, Livingston Ordway of Brooklyn and Anna Stallmann of Long Island also survive. Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston. Funeral services are private. Entombment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, New Jersey.
