Rosemary Joyce Yakowitz

Rosemary Joyce Yakowitz, 77, of Hudson Valley Rehab in Highland, NY, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017 after a long illness. She was born August 2, 1940 in Oakland, CA to the late Charles and Ellen (Albertus) Boyer.

Rosemary received her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the University of Arizona in Tucson. She worked with handicapped children in Cambria, CA in the 1970's and was also active as an artist throughout her life.

She is survived by her children, April Yakowitz of Pine Hill, Taibele "Karen" Wesley and her husband David, as well her grandchildren, Shelby and Conner Wesley, all of Alabama.

Entrusted to the care of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston. Internment will take place privately at Wiltwyck Cemetery in Kingston.
