A Memorial Mass will be conducted on Thursday, May 26th at 12:00 PM at St. Mary's Church, Kingston. Inurnment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kingston will follow.
Rose Mary Moon, 79, of Poughkeepsie died Friday, May 6, 2005 at St. Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie.
Born in Kingston on October 19, 1925, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Rose Polacco Mancuso.
In 1959 Rose moved to Poughkeepsie and worked as a quality control instructor for Western Publishing. She later worked at Hamilton Repro and Merchant's Press.
An avid baseball fan, Rose loved gardening and held a strong faith in the Lord.
Her brothers Peter and James Mancuso died previously.
Surviving are her daughter Charlene R. Kaba and her husband William of Hyde Park, two sisters Angeline Serra of Kingston and Josephine Mancuso of Laramie, WY, many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass for Rose's friends and neighbors in Poughkeepsie will be Celebrated at St. Mary's Church, Church and So. Hamilton Sts., Poughkeepsie on Friday, May 13th at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rose's memory may be made to the Ulster County SPCA, 20 Wiedy Rd., Kingston, NY 12401 (www.ucspca.org)
