Rose Marie Cole

Rose Marie Cole of Railroad Ave. died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Kingston Hospital. She was 65. She was born in Kingston, a daughter of the late James Peter and Lena Sottile Gallo. Rose Marie married Thomas J. Cole Jr. on September 8, 1968. Rose had worked at Dollar Tree, Kingston. A member of the East Kingston Fire Department Auxiliary, Rose served as Treasurer. She was also a member of the East Kingston Fire Dept. and was a member of the Fire Police. Beloved wife of Thomas J. Cole, Jr., loving mother of Travis Cole and Lee Ann Cole, both of East Kingston; grandmother of Michael Anthony Carpino and James Thomas Cole; sister of James Gallo Jr. and his wife Joan of Kingston, Anthony Gallo, Sr. and his wife Antoinette of Glasco, Richard Gallo and her sister in-law Sandra of Kingston, Shirley O'Donnell and her husband Mike of Chichester, Mary Linda North of Tennessee and the late George and Robert Gallo. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Reposing at the Simpson Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The East Kingston Fire Department and Auxiliary will conduct a service on Monday at 7:30 PM. The funeral procession will form on Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Colman's Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
