Rose M. Naccarato, of Crane St., Kingston Point died Friday, December 2, 2005 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 81.
A native and lifelong resident of Kingston Point, she was born on November 3, 1924, a daughter of the late Peter and Theresa Gerrain Perry. On September 23, 1945 Rose married Charles J. Naccarato at St. Mary’s Church.
For many years Mrs. Naccarato was a sewing machine operator for the Kingston Knitting Mills. She later worked as a waitress at D-D’s Drive-In in the Town of Ulster. Over the years Rose also owned and operated a beauty shop out of her home.
A parishioner of St. Mary’s Church, Mrs. Naccarato was a former member and past president of the Ladies Society of Santa Maria.
One brother Matthew Perry and one sister Lena Nagy both died previously.
Beloved wife of 60 years of Charles J. Naccarato; loving mother of Charles V. Naccarato and his wife Henrietta of Highland; and Kevin J. Naccarato and his wife Barbara of Saugerties; sister of Louise Denter of Red Hook, Elvia Shader of Florida, Vincent Perry and Corinne Janeczek, both of Kingston, four grandchildren Charles Edward, Jaime, Kyle and Perry Naccarato; two great grandchildren Melody Rae and Victoria Naccarato; many nieces and nephews.
Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral will be on Monday at 9:00 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
