With sorrow-filled hearts it is that we announce the passing of Rosalyn Zolotow Clark. Born November 4, 1922 in Flatbush, Brooklyn to Harry and Pauline Zolotow, immigrants from Kiev, Ukraine.
Rosalyn transitioned on September 3rd. She was 98 years young and leaves behind a loving family, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a legacy that will live on within everyone she came into contact with.
Rosalyn enjoyed painting, gardening, storytelling and music making. She was the epitome of a freespirit, finding Woodstock in her 60s and quickly finding a family within the community. She was a true visionary within her life and health. Focusing on organic eating, she loved Sunflower and was an avid supporter of the Woodstock Library and WAAM. Rosalyn enjoyed learning about all people, religions and beliefs. In these hard times, Rosalyn was a light that did not stop shining. We encourage everyone to honor their elders, be patient, be kind and most importantly, love one another.
In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the Family of Woodstock, Rupco or Woodstock Library. A life celebration will be held in early October, please pay attention to Facebook announcements and email.
