Rosa Hawkins

July 20, 1927 — June 23, 2016

Rose Hawkins formerly of Schryver Court died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Golden Hill Health Care Center. She was 88. She was born in East Kingston, a daughter of the late Ida Tyler. Rose was retired from Yankee Trails Bus Company in Albany. She enjoyed knitting. Her husband, Arthur Hawkins Sr. died previously. Surviving are her devoted niece Maxine Thomas and her husband Aston with whom she lived and Ernestine Brown, nephew Horace Walker and great-nephew James Courtwright. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son Arthur Hawkins Jr.; two sisters, May Peters and Evelyn Lindsay and three brothers, Robert Philip and Thomas Tyler. Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston where friends will be received on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon at which time funeral services will be conducted by Rev.
