Ronald Germond, 81, of Kingston, died Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus.
Born in Haddam, Connecticut, he was a son of the late William and Kathryn Rowe.
Ronald was a very kind man, who took good care of his wife, Barbara. They often could be seen walking together around Kingston, where they loved to go for milk shakes at Boices. As Barbara said, “He was her king and she was his queen.”
Ronald loved Dunkin’ Doughnuts, McDonald’s, coffee and coloring. He enjoyed watching the Weather Channel and old TV shows. Ronald also enjoyed listening to music. His favorite songs were Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer and the Barking Dogs Jingle Bells.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Barbara Petrick Germond, and will be missed by his many friends and family from the ARC of Ulster-Greene.
Ronald will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Inurnment will take place at Shandaken Rural Cemetery at a later date.
