Ronald B. Hudler, age 79, of Kingston died Monday, May 5, 2008 at Benedictine Hospital, Kingston. A life long area resident, Mr. Hudler was born at home on January 28, 1929, the home he still resided in. He was the son of the late George DuBois Hudler and Marion Hampton Hudler. Husband of the late Mary Warrington Hudler who died October 3, 1991.

He was a graduate of Kingston High School. He had been employed by IBM of Poughkeepsie and then Kingston for 37 years until her retirement in 1990. Previous to that he had been employed by Aird - Don Plumbing and Heating Supply and Hercules Powder Company.
A member of the Reformed Church of the Comforter, past member of the Church consistory, Sunday School Teacher and choir member, he was a sports enthusiast and avid bowler in the Kingston area leagues, had been a little league manager at Kingston American Little League, and enjoyed playing golf.

He is survived by his beloved friend and companion Carol Petruski of Kingston, two sons: Randy Hudler and his beloved companion Rayne Kouhout of Rosendale, NY, Gary S. Hudler and his wife Debbie of Kingston, NY

brother of Ruth Woody of Russell Springs, KY, June VanKleeck of New Paltz, NY and Robert H. Hudler and his wife Gloria of Boca Raton, FL, grandfather of Beth Gannon and her husband Andy of Hamburg, NY, Stephen Hudler and his wife Stacia of Port Ewen, NY; Leslie - Anne Hudler of Miami, FL; Dustin Hudler of Kingston, NY; great grandfather of Hayley and Madison Gannon and Kyle Hudler; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews

The funeral will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston with Rev. Dr. David Brechter officiating. Burial will be in Wiltwyck Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Friday from 2 -4 & 7- 9 pm
