Ron Marquette

Ron Marquette of Main Street , Kingston passed on January 4, 2013 in the loving arms of his dear friends, Isis Heslin and Karen Clark Adin. He was born in Dunkirk, NY, son of the late Frances Marquette. Ron was an active member in our community, involved with multiple cultural, political, civic and social organizations too numerous to mention. Ron's most important attributes included his loyal and loving devotion to family and friends and his incredible sense of humor. Beloved brother of Darlene Rippel of Jacksonville, Fl. and Sharon Hilliard of Ocala, Fl. and the late "T.J.", uncle of Jeff, Kim and Christopher Warren and Ryan Ronald Marquette Rippel. As requested by Ron, "Throw me a hell of a party but keep it short." A celebration of Ron's life will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Hillside Manor, Kingston from 5:00-8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made payable to the "Ron Marquette Writer's Scholarship", c/o Ulster Community College Foundation, Inc., POB 557, Stone Ridge, NY 12484.
