Robin M. Nichols

Robin M. Nichols of Stoll Court, Town of Ulster died Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 52. She was born March 20, 1954, a daughter of Paul and Amelia Turck Chmura. On June 17, 1978 Robin married Bruce Nichols. They moved to Phoenix, AZ and lived there until 1984. Since 1995 Robin has worked for Kington Consolidated Schools. Most recently she has worked at E.R. Crosby Elementary and M. C. Miller in library clerical support. Robin was an avid golfer. One sister, Kathleen Chmura died in 1997 and one brother Paul S. Chmura died in 1953. Surviving in addition to her husband, Bruce and her parents of Kingston, are her daughter, Michelle and her son, Steven, both at home; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Wednesday 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A candlelight service of remembrance will be conducted on Thursday at 12:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Contributions in Robin's memory may be made to the Benedictine Health Foundation, 105 Mary's Ave., Kingston, NY 12401 (for the 4 SMC oncology unit.)
