Robin Loeffler

Robin Loeffler, 61, of Kingston, NY died Friday December 8, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family following a long illness. Robin was born in Kingston and was the daughter of the late Kenneth Jolin and the late Jacqueline Hertica Jolin. Robin was a graduate of the class of 1974 Kingston High School. She worked at Grand Union in the Kingston Plaza, Key Bank on Broadway Kingston, the HoBo Deli on Route 28 in West Hurley and retired in 2015 as a Senior Student Account Rep at Marist College in Poughkeepsie due to her illness. She enjoyed shopping for presents for her family and friends and sending them greeting cards for all occasions, and of course her N.Y. Lottery scratch off tickets looking for the big pay out, but the thing that brought her the most pleasure was spending time with her family. Robin is survived by her husband, David and her two sons, Keith and Shane Loeffler, and her brother Eugene Jolin and his wife, Marion of Georgia and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Robin will be reposing at the Simpson Gaus Funeral Home 411 Albany Ave. where her family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm when her funeral service will begin. Her cremation will take place at Wiltwyck Cemetery. The family requests that donations be made to Hudson Valley Hospice 400 Aaron Court Kingston, NY 12401 in Robins memory.
