Roberta M. Gulnick

Roberta M. Gulnick of Nicholas Ave., Town of Ulster died Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at her home. She was 66. She was born October 28, 1941 in Kingston, the daugther of the late Floyd and Dora Tyler Weeks. A seamstress, she retired in 1990 from Benedictine Hospital. Mrs. Gulnick enjoyed sewing, reading and had a great love for animals. On June 10, 1962, she married Burton Gulnick Sr. Mr. Gulnick died October 4, 2002. Surviving is her daughter, Sheryl Presti and her husband Michael of Newtown, CT; two sons, Burton Gulnick Jr. and his wife Heather of Kingston and Floyd Gulnick also of Kingston; four grandchildren, Aleksandr and Serena Venticinque and Abigail and Jacob Gulnick. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Her brother, Floyd Weeks Jr. died previously. Cremation was private. A memorial service will be held Saturday, 12:00 noon at Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston. Pastor Henry Wuerz will officiate. Memorial contributions may be directed to an animal charity of one's own choice.
