Robert Specht

Robert Specht, 84, of Shokan, NY, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at home. He was born on August 17, 1939 in Newark, NJ.

Bob was married to Susan C. Josenhans, they wed on August 6, 1988. He worked for Nassau County as a Photographer and Dark Room Specialist for many years. He also worked part time at the Hudson Valley Mall in the maintenance department and was a volunteer for the Island Park Fire Department in Nassau County before moving upstate.

Bob is survived by his wife, Susan Josenhans, his sister, Carol (Robert) Stier, his children, Robert (Cathy) Specht, James Specht, and Denise Specht Quesnell, his brothers in law, Stefan (MaryAnn) Josenhans, and Erich (Li) Josenhans, his nieces and nephews, David Josenhans, Sara (Justin) Lawrence, Andrea (Greg) Grabowski, Alex Josenhans, Karina Josenhans, and Gregory Josenhans.

He is predeceased by his father, Harry Specht, his mother, Helen Popow Specht Blaney, his step father, George Blaney, and his daughter, Tammy Terrones Specht.
