Robert L. VanWagenen

Robert L. VanWagenen, 74, of Lomontville, died Saturday, January 15, 2011 at The New Hanover Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. He was born July 7, 1936 in Kingston to the late Charles B. and Edna VanWagenen.

He was married to Joyce VanWagenen, they wed on January 21, 1961.

Robert was a Machinist for Metro North Railroad for 27 years until his retirement.

He was a member of The Lomontville Assembly of God Church.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter Lisa Newkirk and her husband Christopher of Lomontville, son Michael VanWagenen and his wife Jo Anne of Lomontville, brothers Charles VanWagenen of Stone Ridge, Kenneth VanWagenen and Dennis VanWagenen of Lomontville, grandchildren, Ashley and Amber VanWagenen and Kayla and Jarrett Newkirk, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Entrusted to the care of the A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, NY 12401

Funeral services will be held at the Lomontville Assembly of God Church, 123 Ashokan Road, Kingston, NY 12401 on Saturday January 22nd at 11 am.

Friends may call on Friday January 21st from 3 - 7 pm at the funeral home.
