Robert Russell Haines

Robert Russel “Bob” Haines, 82, of Kingston NY, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Kingston Hospital.  An article on his photojournalism career and Navy experience was in the November 6, 2022 Kingston Daily Freeman, where he worked for 39 years.

 

He was born on October 3, 1940 in Kingston, NY.  He will be missed by his companion Jane Devine, his sister, Judy Haines Tellier and Patrick Lopiano; as well as his daughters, Jean Haines of Kingston, Jennifer Haines, Rachel Haines of Cortland NY and Russel Yager; their mother Susan Fairchild Haines of Marathon, NY; nephew Greg Tellier, his wife Marcela and their daughter Sofia; niece Lynn Tellier Radel and her son Andrew Radel, all of Kingston, and many relatives, friends, and neighbors.  He will also be missed by the railroad, navy, and local history communities. 

 

Bob’s memorial will be Monday, November 14, 2022 from 4-6pm at Keyser Funeral Home, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401.  Military Honors will take place at 6pm.
