Robert George Short

Robert George Short, 52, of Kingston, died Monday, July 19, 2010 at his residence. He was born November 12, 1957 in Kingston, to the late Robert F. and the late Dorothy (Schick) Short.




Mr. Short was a graduate of Onteora Central High School, Union College in Schenectady, and


Albany Law School. Bob had many interests that included cooking, gardening and reading. He was an avid musician and enjoyed performing with a variety of singers and instrumentalists throughout the area. He enjoyed the fellowship and support of many friends including the Sheehan family of Poughkeepsie.




He is survived by his sister; Elaine Watson and her husband Paul of Stratford, CT, their children Elyse, Olivia, and Jarrett.




Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. A graveside Memorial services will be held this Friday at noon at Montrepose Cemetery.
