Robert G. "Bob" Rundle, 68, of Birch St., Kingston, passed peacefully Thursday afternoon, May 23, at the Benedictine Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 27, 1944 in Kingston, the son of the late James and Rose Adams Rundle.
He was a graduate of Kingston High School and then served in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1963 - 1966.
Bob had worked for Suburban Propane of Kingston for 37 years, and then for Iron Mountain for 9 years and part time at Wal Mart.
He loved to dance, in particular line dancing, enjoyed old car shows and cooking. He was fond of bird watching and feeding them.
Bob is survived by his loving companion Darlene Doleski, his daughters Robyn Norman and Sheri Bovee, his sisters Rosemarie Harris, Saugerties, Shirley Felton, Ruby, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, Darlene's daughters Corina and Christina Doleski, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Thomas Rundle and James Rundle, Jr. and a sister Margaret Severson.
Entrusted to the care of Eric Keyser, Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, the servcie willl be at Blue Mt. Cemetery on Wednesday at 10:00 am
The family suggests instead of flowers memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
