Robert Edmund Hazzard

Robert Edmund Hazzard, age 86, of Fair Street, Kingston
died Saturday, March 1, 2008 at , his home.

Mr. Hazzard was born May 28, 1921 at Cortland, NY
the son of the late Donald Reed and the late Florence Marana (Goddard) Hazzard.

He was a 1939 Graduate of Homer High School, Homer, NY

At the outbreak of WW II he enlisted in the Army Air Corp.
He attained the rank of Master Sgt in the United States Army Air Corps.
Served during World War II from September 1942 to February 1946.
He served in the China Burma Theater Of Operations

After the war, he came back to Cortland and married Doris M. Colgrove Hazzard,
he went to work in the investment field, starting with Loeb Roades Company,
he retired from EF Huttton Company as the Vice President of the local office.
He is survived by:
Son - Peter D. Hazzard & his wife Veronica Colgan-Hazzard.
Step-sons; Ronald, Jerry, & Fred Carvin.
Granddaughter-Nicole Neilson
Sisters; Elizabeth MacNeil of Homer, NY, and Marthe Burgett of Stevensville, MT

He is predeceased by:
3 wives,
Doris Colegrove Hazzard,
Herta Carvin Hazzard,
& Jane Monser Hazzzard
His daughter Patricia Anne Hazzard
and Grandson Robert L. Neilson.
