Robert D. Fay

Robert D. Fay, 80, a resident of Kingston, died Thursday, January 26, 2017 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus. Born in East Kingston, he was a son of the late George & Molly Myers Fay. Bob was a custom builder who owned and operated RD Fay & Son, Inc. He enjoyed sports, especially football and basketball. Bob was a parishioner of St. Johns Church in West Hurley. He was well loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Bob is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sylvia Smith Fay of Kingston, two sons, Michael Fay of Kingston and Gregory Fay of Kingston, a daughter, Christina Fay of Carolina, several grandchildren including Danny Fay and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by a brother Thomas Fay and two sisters, Ella Nerone and Jean Linnartz. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
