Robert D. Curtis, 70, of Kingston, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015. He was born August 26, 1944 in Kingston, to Dolores (Gregory) Curtis and the late Clarence Robert Curtis.
He was a Kingston High School graduate, class of 1962. He served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Robert was a career musician and was a founding member of the "Monzels". Many of their original songs are still heard around the world today.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his siblings, Susan Bierganns and her husband Henry, Steven Curtis and his wife Linda, his uncle, Donald Gregory, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where friends and family may visit on Thursday July 16th from 4 to 6pm with a service starting at 6pm. Inurnment in Wiltwyck Cemetery will take place at a later date.
