Robert C. O'Brien

Robert C. "O'Toole" O'Brien, 64, of Eddyville, died Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at his residence. He was born June 6, 1946 in Poughkeepsie, to Robert G. and Catherine (Gebbia) O'Brien.

Robert served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a Carpenter for Local #17, Newburgh. He was an accomplished woodcarver and whittler. He was a member of the Catskill Mountain Woodcarvers Club.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his sons; Christopher R. O'Brien of Albany, NY, Patrick I. O'Brien of Long Island, Cody A. O'Brien of Eddyville, NY and Dylan T. O'Brien of Eddyville, NY, daughter; Samantha Brantley of FL, his brother; Joseph J. O'Brien of Connelly, NY, sister; Patricia O'Brien of Connelly, NY and granddaughters, Kayla & Alysa.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 216 Broadway, Port Ewen. The family will receive their friends on Thursday from 7 - 9 pm. A Mass of Christian will be held at St. Mary's RC Church on Friday at 10 am. Burial in St. Peter's Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.
