Robert C. Miller

Robert C. Miller, Jr., age 83, of Van Drive, Grahamsville
died Monday, March 24, 2008 at Sullivan County Adult Home, Liberty.

Mr. Miller was born June 16, 1924 at Lansing, Michigan the son of the late Robert C. and the late Marvel (McCracken) Miller, Sr.

He married Helen J.Swanson June 30, 1949 at Wheaton, Illinois.

He served in the Navy from 1943 to 1946 during World War II .

Dedicated to his calling, he was a very active and concerned pastor, involved with all aspects of the church life.

He began his ministry at the Marston's Corner Baptist Church, in Auburn, Maine, he with his family went to Waterville, Conn, where he served as pastor at the Waterville Bible Church.

They moved to this area in 1964 where he then served as Pastor at the Grace Community Church, the Glenerie Chapel and the Valley Community Church. He retired from Valley Community Church, Kingston as a Pastor in 1989.
After retirement he was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Kingston.

With his wife they enjoyed traveling, especially to Maine. He enjoyed music, in particular sacred music and show tunes

Daniel M. Miller & wife Christine, of Bolton, MA

Sister: Marilyn Modoff of Wheaton, IL

Grandsons, Jon, Paul & Nat Christiana;
Grandchildren, Jennifer, Eric And Chloe Miller;
Granddaughter, Ashley Spangenberg;
Granddaughter, Allison Lounsbury;
2 Great Grandchildren

Calling hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY. A memorial service will be Friday at 11:00 at The Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, 90 Millers Ln., Kingston.

Burial will be in Grahamsville Rural Cemetery is private
