Robert "Butchie" Augustine

Robert "Butchie" Augustine, 52, a lifelong resident of Kingston, died May 26, 2013 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Kingston, he was the youngest child of the late Anthony F. & Rose Mastrianni Augustine. He was a 1979 graduate of Kingston High School and prior to his illness, a residential property manager. Butchie was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He had a great sense of humor, an infectious personality, and was always fun to be around. He will be dearly missed by all of his friends and family. Robert is survived by his devoted wife of 22 years, Karen McCullough Augustine, whom he married on September 21, 1991, beautiful daughters, Anna and Nicole with whom he enjoyed a close unique bond, siblings, Barbara Fescoe, Ronald Augustine and his wife Eileen, Michael Augustine and his wife Penny. Sister in law, Cheryl Augustine and many nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his brother, Raymond Augustine. Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 3-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ulster Hose No. 5, 830 Ulster Ave., Kingston NY 12401
