Robert A. Brown

Robert ''Bubba'' Brown, 85, of Mt Marion, died Friday, February 10, 2012 at The Kingston Hospital. He was born January 18, 1927 in East Kingston, to the late Robert Roy and Eva (Henderson) Brown.





He was married to his wife of 62 years Dolores (Jones) Brown, they wed on July 3rd 1949. Bubba worked for IBM in Kingston for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall in Kingston and enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.


In addition to his wife he is survived by his children; Robert Brown and his wife Brenda of Raleigh, NC, Charles Brown of Kingston, Charlene Brown of Kingston and Frederick Brown of Kingston, sisters, Christine Fitzgerald of NYC and Alice Byrd of Orlando, Fl., a sister-in-law, Ruth Brown of SC, grandchildren, Danielle Holland of Kingston, Aaron Brown of Kansas City, MO, Craig Brent of Port Ewen, Timothy Brown of Kingston, Sierra Brown of NC and Britney Schleede of Kingston, great-grandchildren, Lakayla Anderson, Miranda Brown, Christian Holland, Amari Holland, Noah Brent Cameron Brown, a great great grand-child, Malia Anderson. Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.


He was predeceased by his son, Cordell Brown and his brother Philip Brown.


Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401 where friends may call on Thursday from 12 - 1 pm at the funeral home. The service will follow at 1pm.





Burial with military honors will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston .
