Richard M. Jones

Richard M. Jones, 85, of Lake Katrine, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Kingston Hospital. He was born September 26, 1928 in Kingston, to the late Marion S. and Alice (Palen) Jones.

He was married to Shirley (Barley) Jones, they wed on November 21st 1948. Dick was a Kingston High School Graduate and served in the US Army during WWII. He worked in the family business, Jones Radio & TV in Kingston and later Kingston Appliance. He later drove for J.B. Hunt.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Richard S. Jones has his wife Lynn of Kingston, Allen R. Jones of Lake Katrine, and Karen D. Jones and her companion Phil Neri of Lake Katrine, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grand children and 2 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by two siblings, Roger Jones of Kingston and Carol Petruski of Kingston. He is predeceased by his daughter Sheryl Koeppen and his sister Dorothy Thomas.
