Richard Francis Savino

Richard Francis Savino of Karen Court, Saugerties died Thursday, August 24, 2006 at Benedictine Hospital. He was 39. He was born in Kingston on November 16, 1966, a son of Richard S. Savino and Kathleen J. Vining. Rich attended Saugerties High School and for many years worked as an automobile mechanic. Prior to his illness, Richard owned and operated Jules Lighted Scents on the Rondout. Surviving in addition to his father of Lake Katrine and mother of Ruby, are his fiance Julie Serra of Saugerties, three sisters Robin McDonald of Mt. Marion, Aimee Kouhoupt of Kingston and Cassandra Savino of Lake Katrine; his fraternal grandmother Prudence Savino of Rosendale; his niece Jenna McDonald and nephew Robert Francis McDonald. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. There will be a candlelight remembrance service conducted on Saturday at 8:15 PM.
