Raymond J. Ferrigan, 82, formerly of Sawkill and Lake Katrine died Monday, January 7, 2008 at New York State Veterans Home at Montrose. He was born March 8, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY. Son of the late Thomas Ferrigan and Blanche Ferrigan McDonald, step son of the late William McDonald, wife of Eleanor McDonough Ferrigan who died in 1988.

He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during WW II, he had worked for Texaco, White Plains, NY until his retirement. He had been a communicant of St. Josephs RC. Survived by his daughter Joanne Ferrigan of Bronxville, NY, brother Robert E. Ferrigan of Sawkill, Several nieces and nephews, predeceased by a sister, Blanche Mackie and two step sisters Marie and Helen

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, where the procession will form on Friday at 9:15 am and proceed to St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church where at 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Burial in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Saugerties, NY on Friday, with full military honors provided by Joyce Schirick Post # 1386 VFW

Friends may call on Thursday, January 10, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to New York State Veterans Home at Montrose, 2090 Albany Post Road, Montrose, NY 10548
