Rachel Goode

Rachel Rae Goode, 83, of Lake Katrine, NY formerly of Brookyln, NY, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at home in Lake Katrine, NY. She was born on April 24, 1941 in Coney Island, Brooklyn, NY and was the daughter of the late Pasquale Russo and Anna Christiano.

Rachel was married on October 23, 1960, in Guardian Angel Church, Brooklyn, NY to John J. Goode. 

Rachel was a wonderful homemaker and loving mother to three sons. Rae loved her family first and foremost, especially her four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Rachel is survived by her husband John J. Goode, her sons John Joseph Goode, Christopher Thomas Goode and his wife Kim, her grandchildren, Katelyn (Abell) Goode and her husband Zach, Danielle Goode, Ryan Goode and Natalia Goode. Her brother Anthony Russo and his wife Monique and sister Katherine Buovolo and her husband Anthony and a great-grandson Jack. Rae is also survived by many friends, family, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Rachel is preceded in death by her son, Steven Michael and brother, Frank H. Russo.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401. A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday January 25th, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church at 11am.
