Phyllis A. Midge Morrell Lane, 90, of Boiceville, formerly of Tillson, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus. Born in Manchester, CT, she was a daughter of the late Joseph & Margaret Franz Morrell. Phyllis is survived by a son, Maurice Skip J. Lane, Jr, and his wife, Karen of Boiceville, ten grandchildren, Phyllis Lane, Tina McKenzie, Maurice Lane, III, Mark Lane, Amber Minow, Heather Lane, Jenna Lane, Chris Lane, April Reynolds and Steven Lane. Her companion, Richard Peters of Boiceville. Several great and great great grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was predeceased by a son, Daniel J. Lane, two brothers, Howard Morrell and Ord Morrell and a sister, Mildred Carroll. Phyllis will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday at the funeral home at 11:00 AM with Rev. Darlene Kelley from Clinton Avenue United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Saugerties.
