Phyllis K. Conlon, 82, of Lipton St., Kingston, died Sunday, August 11, 2013 at HealthAlliance Hosp. Broadway Campus, Kingston. She was born January 7, 1931 in Kingston, a daughter of the late Kathryn Reilly Conlon. A graduate of Kingston High School, Class of 1950, Phyllis worked for the telephone company and retired from IBM, Kingston where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club. Phyllis was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church and a member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Div. 5. She enjoyed traveling. Surviving are her sister, Joan Howard, three nieces, Cathy Howard, Christine Howard and Margaret (Steve) Conlon Rawson; three nephews, Dennis (Louise) Howard, John Conlon and Thomas Conlon and three grand-nephews, Christopher, Brandon and Aaron Rawson. Several cousins also survive. Her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Conlon and her brother-in-law James Howard died previously. Entrusted to the care of Paul Geary of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave., Kingston where friends will be received on Tuesday from 5 - 8 PM. A funeral procession will form on Wednesday, 9:00 AM at the funeral home and process to St. Mary's Church for a 10:00 AM funeral Mass. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
