Phyllis C. Port

Phyllis C. (Henriksen) Port, 91, of West Hurley, formerly of Wales, UK, passed away on Wednesday May 6th 2015.

She was born November 7, 1923 in Wales, UK. Later while working in London, she met her husband Louis George Port of Kingston, NY, while he was serving overseas during World War II.

She worked in the Library of the West Hurley Elementary School for many years until her retirement. Phyllis was a very active member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, in Kingston.

She enjoyed knitting, reading and above all spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Phyllis is survived by children; Gary Port of Woodstock, NY, Jeanne Reynolds and her husband Jim of Kingston, NY, and Jeffrey Port and his wife Pamela of Kenora, Ontario, Canada. As well as six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY where friends and family may visit on Monday May 11th from 4pm to 7pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 12th at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston.
