Peter Lewis

Peter Seth Lewis, 50, of Atwood Road, Stone Ridge, NY died Saturday, August 9, 2003 at home. He was born in New York City on March 18, 1953, a son of Anne Levy Lewis and the late Arthur Lewis. A graduate of Adelphi Academy, NYC and Syracuse University, on January 22, 1978 he married Nina Sale. A professional sound engineer, Mr. Lewis was a partner in Two Guys Audio and did freelance work as Pete Lewis Audio. Well-known in the profession, Mr. Lewis worked with many celebrities including Dolly Parton, Oprah Winfrey and the late John Denver. Surviving in addition to his wife of 25 years and his mother of Brooklyn, are his daughter Kate Lewis at home, one brother Fred Lewis on Duxbury, Mass. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 11:30 AM at Simpson – Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Cantor Bob Cohen will officiate.
