Peter J. Cerasaro

Peter J. Cerasaro, Jr., 70, of Tuxedo Park, NY, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 at home. He was born March 22, 1946 in Kingston, to the late Peter and Mary (Mauro) Cerasaro, Sr.

Peter was a Kingston High School Graduate. He later received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Syracuse University. He was a Social Studies teacher in the Ramapo School District for many years. During the summer months he enjoyed traveling which brought him to many places around the world.

He is survived by his siblings, Jeffrey and Shelley Cerasaro of California, his cousins, Maryellen and Laurie Morris, Deborah Rubin, and MaryLynn Cashin. He was predeceased by his sister, Toni.

Entrusted to the care of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, where friends and family may visit on Saturday from 10am to 11am with the service starting at 11am. Burial will follow in St. Mary of The Snow Cemetery in Saugerties. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Joslin Diabetes Center at www.joslin.org .
