Peter J. Blair Jr.

Peter J. Blair Jr. formerly of Kingston and Hudson, died Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA. He was 75. He was born September 2, 1931 in Esopus, a son of the late Peter J. and Ethel Blair Sr. He served in the navy from 1955 to 1956. He was a farmer and worked in Hudson. Surviving is his wife, Juliete May Osterhoudt Blair whom he married, September 2, 1952. Also surviving are two sons, Frank of Kingston; Peter J. III of Virginia, three daugters, Ruth Ann of Virginia; Lucy Marie of Chatham and Lina Juliet of Kingston; two brothers, Billy and Kenny Blair and two sisters, Esther and Eleanor Blair. Nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive. A son, Richard Blair and a sister, Anne Blair died previously. Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Wednesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at which time funeral servcies will be conducted by Deacon Jack Peters. Interment will be in New Paltz Rural Cemetery.
