Peter Bacon Hales

Stone Ridge - Peter Bacon Hales (November 13, 1950 - August 26, 2014) noted American historian, photographer and author and joyous musician, died in a tragic bicycling accident near his home in Stone Ridge, New York.  He is the beloved husband of Maureen Pskowski, devoted father of Taylor John Hales and his wife Michelle Cardozo and Molly Kate Hales, and loving brother of Susan and Martha Stauffer Hales. Peter was predeceased by his parents, Milton Reynolds and Harriet Bacon Hales. A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held at Christ the King Episcopalian Church, Route 213, Stone Ridge, on Saturday, August 30th at 1:00 pm.
