Paul G. Beaver

Paul ''Jerry'' G. Beaver, 71, of River Road, Ulster Park, a life long resident of the Town of Esopus died Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at the Kingston Hospital. He was born December 31, 1937 in Kingston, to the late Paul S. and Helen (Schrowang) Beaver.




He was the husband of Carol DuBois Beaver, they were wed on April 17, 1960 at the Presentation RC Church. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2010.




Mr. Beaver, with his Dad and brother Gene, owned and operated P. S. Beaver and Sons Painting Contractors and Paper Hangers, which was founded in 1926. Paul was a parishioner of Presentation R.C. Church, Father Kelly Drive, Port Ewen, he was a life member of the Port Ewen Fire Department, having served for over 55 years. He was a member of Woodstock Harley Davidson Motorcycle Club and KMR. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed golfing and driving his Corvette.




In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter Linda Beaver of Port Ewen, His grandson Anthony and Nicholas LaTorre of Port Ewen, a brother Vincent Beaver of Ocala, Florida, Joseph Beaver, Alplaus, NY a sister Helen Dzurinko of Monsey, NY and Edna TenBroeck of Clayton, GA,




He was the brother of the late Eugene Beaver, John Beaver, Annette Martinez and Joan Beaver




Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 216 Broadway, Port Ewen, Friends may call on Saturday 7-9 pm and Sunday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. The procession will form on Monday at 9:15 am and proceed to Presentation RC Church where at 10:00 a.m. a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated


Burial in St Mary's Cemetery, Kingston.
