Paul C. Steinmiller, 77, Kingston, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus in Kingston. He was born July 12, 1935 in Kingston, to the late Charles and Gertrude (Rathgaber) Steinmiller.
He was married to his loving wife, Carol (Miller) Steinmiller; they wed on September 29th 1963.
Paul was a Kingston High School Graduate, Class of 1954. After high school he served his country in the US Navy aboard the U.S.S. Opportune, a rescue and salvage ship in Norfolk, VA.
After his service he worked for Robert Hall Clothing Store and the various local hospitals before retiring from Northern Dutchess Hospital. Paul enjoyed fishing, coins & antiques.
In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by his children, Deborah Kraeer and her husband Bill of McDonald, PA, and Eric Steinmiller and his wife Linda Glass of Kingston, his grandchildren, Kelcie and Brandon Kraeer, his sister in law, Cynthia Puetz and her husband Joseph, as well as several nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his sister, Marie Schleede.
Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7pm with a service starting at 7pm.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
