Patricia Sottile

Patricia Sottile, 72, a lifelong resident of Kingston, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in East Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Stephen & Helen Palen Gardecki. Patricia enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her daughters. Patricia is survived by her husband of 50 years, Thomas Sottile of Kingston, whom she married on October 23, 1965, two daughters, Gina Sottile and Suzanne Sottile, both of Kingston, five siblings, Eva Clausi of East Kingston, Helen Mickle and her husband Donald of Port Ewen, Anthony Gardecki and his wife Babs of Niceville, FL, Rosemary Gardecki of East Kingston, Frank Gardecki and his wife Doris of Kingston. Many nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by two sisters, Marie DeLucca and Dolores Gibbons and one brother, Stanley Gardecki. Patricia will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave, on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Ladies Society of Santa Maria will conduct their service at 7:15 PM. The funeral procession will form from the funeral home on Saturday at 9:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery will be held privately. The family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
