Patricia R. Creighton

Patricia Ruth Creighton, 69, of Kingston, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014 at HealthAlliance Hospital, Mary's Ave. Campus with her family by her side. She was born September 13, 1945 in Kingston. She was the daughter of William J. and Ruth (Wolven) Rice. She was married to Donald J. Creighton Sr.; they wed on September 22nd 1989. Patricia graduated from St. Joseph's School in Kingston and St. Ursula Academy. She worked for many years as a legal secretary. She loved her grandchildren, being outdoors, and feeding the ducks.


In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Kelly Bradford Freer and her husband Steven Freer Sr. of Kingston, Tricia Guzel and her husband Chet Guzel Sr. of West Nyack, Donald J. Creighton Jr. and his wife Beth of Hyde Park, her grandchildren, Courtney Cichetti and her husband Christopher, Micaran Creighton, Chet Guzel Jr., Yasemin Guzel and Steven Freer Jr., her great grandson, Bentley James Creighton-O'Reily, her brothers, William Rice, Ronald Rice, and Jack McGrath, her dear friend, Anita Grimaldi, as well as many nieces and nephews.


Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where friends and family may visit on Tuesday October 21st from 4pm to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday October 22nd at 10am at St. Joseph's RC Church, 242 Wall Street, Kingston, NY. Inurnment at Wiltwyck Cemetery Mausoleum will take place privately. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society at www.Cancer.org
