Patricia Joan Torkelsen

Patricia (Sullivan) Torkelsen, 70, of Woodstock, NY, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017. She was born May 29, 1946 in Mount Vernon, NY to the late John L. and Kathleen (Schreiber) Sullivan.

She was married to Thomas M. Torkelsen; they wed on November 27th 1971 at St. Catherine Laboure Church in Lake Katrine. Pat graduated from St. Ursula's Academy in Kingston and later worked for many years at United Health Care in Kingston. She enjoyed creating personalized gifts and sewing one of a kind creations for loved ones.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughters, Tanya Carr and her husband Michael of Kingston, Kristen Torkelsen of Rochester, NY, and her granddaughter, Peighton Torkelsen. She is predeceased by her brother, John B. Sullivan.

Entrusted to the care of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, where friends and family may visit on Sunday April 2nd from 1pm to 4pm. Inurnment will take place at Wiltwyck Cemetery in Kingston at a later date.
